Milton Berg sees a 30 year bear market for stocks and bonds

This is one of the most pessimistic views on the market that we've seen, ever! Milton makes some good points, however innovation and continued advancements in technology, science and energy will create opportunities for significant the markets. We'd concur that today's markets seem overvalued when you look at historical P/E ratios, debt levels, decelerating earnings, global debt levels and the interest rate picture. Inflation + interest rate increases + weak corporate earnings + slowing consumption = unstable and weak markets. We may not be there yet, but it's a matter of time and there appears to be little upside left before we see the overdue correction finally arrive.
